With this worldwide outbreak everyone is facing difficult decisions. People are wondering if they should go to work or enjoy vacation plans. Governments around the world want to basically shut the world down for the next 14 days to try stop the outbreak from getting worse. We have seen now all the leagues and we are talking about the big leagues. NBA, MLS, NHL, MLB and NCAA all shut down operations for a small or long period of time depending on this outbreak and even smaller soccer leagues and XFL stopped operation and the last one is very interesting and I am talking about the XFL.
We all know Vince McMahon owns the XFL and they decided to postpone the league but we all know what McMahon is really famous for and that is owner the biggest Wrestling promotion and that is WWE and people who are WWE fans know that their biggest event which like their Super Bowl so now the question becomes do they cancel or postpone it? Now the event is taking place in Tampa, where there have been cases of the virus and that is confirmed. We all never thought it would come to this but look at what has happened so far. Now the governments have urge no mass gathers which a sporting event is a mass gather. At first WWE like others issued a no touch policy but now the government might be urging them to postpone the event.
So what should they do then? WrestleMania could see a crowd of 80,000 plus to see the matches but yet here we are with WM still going as plan. Let’s say this does go on and nothing happens no one get’s sick or anything. Then they will have showed everyone pretty much that there is nothing to worry about. The flip side is because fans come from all over the world and they could cause the outbreak to speed up and they will have look like the biggest jerks of all time. The government has basically sent the signs to them to cancel on that day but once again its still going on. Is it greed or is it sign that they think everyone is blowing this way out of proportion, You can be the judge.
If it is greed which most will say it easy because this event draws in the most money for the promotion. people spend thousands of dollars for just one ticket at times and that is another thing will people want their money back because we will have no idea when our lives can return to normal day to day. The event is still three weeks away and we know right now that things can get even worse or things might start to look better. We won’t know until we get closer to April 5th but ask yourself in the end What should WWE do?

Well last night was the night that we all have been waiting for, well if you are a an wrestling fan. last night was the first episode of AEW’s flagship show Dynamite which ran from 8 pm to 10 pm and went head to head with WWE’s Nxt. How did the show live up to the hype? Well Let’s start with the crowd at the very beginning was insane, right off the bat you can tell that the wrestling world wanted another big time player. Sure we still have Ring Of Honor and Impact Wresting but those two promotions don’t have the funds or the TV deal or the crowds to compete with AEW and WWE.
As of right now I don’t think WWE has to worry about anything just yet, however if they keep this up then it is only a matter of time before a wrestling war begins. First let’s talk about the commentary which had Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone and former Wrestler Excalibur. Now Both Jim and Tony’s voices are stand out in the business however without having any big matches it was hard for them to deliver the great calls instead they couldn’t stress enough about how TNT has Wrestling for the first time in 20 years. Nonetheless I do think they will get better as stories go on from. Next having heels and baby faces come out different tunnels is very much an old school thing and I loved it. Now another great touch they added was having the wrestlers records shown which if they do something with the winners it help us see whose going for what title.
Production was a miss at times, the mics didn’t start working right off the bat and you missed a word or two. Not a big deal but something they could improve on going forward. Theme music now this sounds stupid to judge but it was on a low end of hearing it but that could have been from the crowd as well. The Matches well some of the matches did seem to be sniff at times and some botches did happen, yet this is normal for an live event and I think once these guys and women start to work with each other more and more the quality should improve. Promos now I get that they needed to have matches to wow the crowd but the lack of promos did someone hurt the show.
Hear me out, right now there are no true story lines just yet, which I guess for the moment you don’t need promos but it would have been nice to see how these guys work on the mic. Now I get it these men and women are experienced but the promos have to be good which is something I hope do next week
In the End I am giving this show a good B+ which isn’t bad for their first show. I can’t wait to see how they improve going forward and in the end I hope they stick to their system and not try and be another WWE because Impact tried that and failed.

We all love Wrestling and we all know what it is about and how everything is planned out and predetermine. What makes wrestling so great is when the planned is executed it is such a great thing and its hard to tell if the stuff is scripted. However some stunts can go overboard or be down right gross. We now got to witness a stunt that was truly gross and that stunt was a tampon going into someone’s mouth.
No you didn’t misread that I did in fact say a tampon. Priscilla Kelly, who some will remember was in the WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament just last year which mind you she lost in the first round and that pretty much was it, once again the headlines claimed her to be a WWE star which is far from the truth so let’s not get it twisted, this has nothing to do with WWE. Anyway in a Match last month Kelly decided to shove what to be a bloody tampon in her opponent mouth. How do we know it was a tampon? Besides the fact she took it out of her crotch and treated it as a tampon, yes we have good evidence it was a tampon. Not long after the match the video went viral and it gave Kelly the fame she was seeking but as popular as she become, some people aren’t happy about it and rightfully so.
Both WWE and TNA have been giving the women’s wrestling the push they deserve and by having them main Event PPVs and WWE even did their own female PPV, the women have shown they don’t need to be eye candy material to put on a good show and have the fans behind them, so why didn’t Kelly factor this into her planning. Sure the crowd loved it and started to chant Holy Sh*t and you sick f*ck.
The fans who were there may have loved it but most of the wrestling community are pretty much disgusted by her stunt. Names like Gail Kim, Road Dog and Jim Ross are people who are against her and sure she has her supporter in Tommy Dreamer. Now this is the first time I have heard of her and I am sure this will take her career to new heights and get her more bookings because promoters love to draw crowds and right now all eyes are on her. As for her future in WWE well even though they are big leagues of sorts she probably doesn’t have a future with them but then again never say never. If Kelly is smart she will wise up and use the smart light to get better but we will see.
